ANNI a California corporation, providing quality psychiatric services to the geriatric and aging population. ANNI maintains a commitment to address the particular needs of this special population requiring behavioral health services, dealing with medical and psychiatric problems such as:
ANNI has successfully managed and operated a freestanding psychiatric hospital in Newport Beach, California for the past 18 years while remaining a financially viable company. At the same time all other freestanding psychiatric hospitals have closed their doors, Newport Bay Hospital continues to thrive and serve the community. "We have achieved this by employing and working with individuals who are passionate about what they do and providing superb care for our patients during a very difficult time". In 2011, the first “Baby Boomers” became seniors, 65 years old. Between 1946 and 1964 over 76 million American babies were born. That means for the next twenty years the number of people reaching 65 years of age will more than double compared to previous numbers. Geriatric and aging patients need to be in a milieu with peers they can relate to and feel safe around. There are currently only 3,267 available psychiatric beds in the state of California, most of which cannot be used to treat the geriatric population. There's not nearly enough beds for the current 65 and over demographic let alone the future increases driven by the “Baby Boomers”. The need for geriatric psychiatric programs in California is growing rapidly withour target demographic. Seniors suffering from mental illness / cognitive impairment need specialized care; at ANNI we have proven over time that we have the expertise, the passion, and the compassion to cater to these special needs patients.
Key members of the ANNI team have collaborated over the past several years to sharpen the vision and develop the network of dedicated health care professionals. The result of our efforts is a company that offers value added programs and enhanced services to those we serve.
